This sweet block by Chelsi Stratton gives all the fall cozy feelings! I'm wishing I had my pumpkin spice coffee in hand right now! But, I think I’ll keep the spring weather, thank you! 😉✨

I made up the smaller size and it was a friendly block to put together. I do think sizing up just a smidge helped me to trim up my pieces to be nice and sharp. Thank you for the beautiful block, Chelsi!

I used my new line, Wild Meadow, for my pretty block! It’ll be in shops this September!

I could easily make a whole quilt out of the block for today... This is "Cross my Mind" by Brigitte Heitland for Zen Chic. It's so sharp and I LOVE the look of the linework in it. It just feels fresh and so pretty. Can you imagine the different versions of this with a simple change of fabric placement? I think I just talked myself into making multiples. 😉 Thank you, Brigitte, for the wonderful new addition to my block library.

This quilt just sings with its pretty combo of fabric from Spring Brook by @corianderquilts & my Break of Day. The pattern is an interpretation of “Chamomile” by @woodberry_way …. Have I mentioned how much I love @sweetfireroad Midnight In The Garden fabric line?

First I made my Floral Hall sample and completely fell in love. I decided I would use every last scrap!

Second I made a Clover Fields quilt using Moda Cameo for the background. I love the pink! This would work great with a jelly roll!

And last I made a postage stamp baby quilt with all of the little scraps. It is so so sweet! It’s even listed in my Etsy shop!

And I’d be lying if there wasn’t a jelly roll Rough Cut Diamonds in the works. 😂

If you haven’t gotten your hands on this fabric go grab some! It’s absolutely gorgeous!

Still at it with the mini charms! These little 2.5” squares just make us sew happy. Inspiration comes from many places. Sara @northsara came into the shop saying she was making a gift and she showed me a picture. I knew I had to make one with the @sweetfireroad Through The Woods mini charms. Super cute, fast and mini. We seem to love mini things, just as much as we love big stitch quilting. This mini measures about 15”x15”.

Taking time today to slow down and enjoy all the pretty things. We lost a cherished member of our family this weekend, my husband’s dad & Sammy’s “Grampy.” He was a wonderful guy who really enjoyed life and will be missed.

Gardens need their beauty sleep too! At dusk just before going in for the night, I would tend to my flowers, inspecting and removing any that have expired, clean up any debris from the day, and as I walked away I would say, “Goodnight Garden.” It made me smile. I spoke to my garden often and it replied with its beautiful blooms.

When designing Goodnight Garden, I wanted to remember those flowers as they sleep. You can still see the coloring in their blooms, but their leaves and stems fade into the darkness. The fabric could not have been more perfect for bringing my vision to life. Jackie @sweetfireroad designed the Midnight in the Garden collection just for me. Just kidding, but it sure felt that way when I saw it. 😘😘😘

Goodnight Garden is now available in PDF format on my website and in my Etsy shop and 15% off all weekend. You may notice something a little bit different. I don’t have any listings for paper patterns or coordinating products at this time. Tomorrow I will be announcing something and why I don’t have those items. Stay tuned. Don’t worry it’s not bad, and paper patterns and products will be back soon.

This week's block is a beauty from Linzee McCray, "Spinning into Spring." (@seamswrite ) I can see where this one would have a lot of varying finished looks depending on color and placement choices. I've used my new line, Wild Meadow, for my block.
