Evermore fabric collection by Sweetfire Road for Moda Fabric + Supplies

Introducing Evermore by Sweetfire Road for Moda

I designed Evermore with a specific feel in my heart.  I am enamored of the cottage core movement.  For those of you unfamiliar with it, Architectural Digest did a great article about it.  Click here to read it. Within the article, Davina Ogilvie writes that “As a concept, it embraces a simpler, sustainable existence that is more harmonious with nature. Aesthetically, it’s a nod to the traditional English countryside style, romantic and nostalgic,”

So, yep.... naturally, I fell head over heels in love with it as it is romantic and really embraces a beautiful hobby farmer/romantic soul/simple life mentality.

As a child of the eighties, I grew up with influences such as Holly Hobbie, Little House on the Prairie, and Laura Ashley.  And so this movement really resonates me on a sentimental level, too.  (Raise your hand if you're an eighties kid!)

The collection's setting, if you will, is a quiet cottage that, in my mind, has been a family home for ages...  Roses grow in tangles and food that comes from the old kitchen tastes like magic.

I hope this collection inspires many well-loved, well-worn quilts or other beloved keepsakes.

I welcome you to share this post with your quilty friends in the hopes that you love it as much as I do.  As always, thank you from my whole heart for supporting my dream of creating art embracing everyday magic.

Evermore is on order for Quilt shops now, so please encourage your LQS to order if you'd like to see it on your cutting table.

Evermore ships this September

Please visit the gallery for more romantic images of Evermore.  And, should you like, I'm offering a preorder for popular precuts of Evermore in my mercantile shop.

What is the name of the quilt pattern displayed on a clothesline with Midnight in the garden fabrics. It is "staggering"type squares. I would love to make this pattern.
Thank you,
Jane

Jackie-

What are the Bella Solids that coordinate with Evermore? Specifically I’m looking for the cream that matches the background of the low volumes. GORGEOUS line btw!! Thanks! XO

Rebecca

I purchased a Sweetfire Road pattern called Birch Branches. Please tell me what HST stands for in the instructions on Pages 6, 12 and 13? I feel I cannot start my quilt not knowing what this stands for. Thank you
