I’m Jackie, an artist and surface designer tucked away on the coast of Maine. My work is inspired by the "Secret Garden" moments of life—the nostalgic scent of wild roses, the patterns of light through an old forest, and the comforting familiarity of a well-loved storybook.
Through my repeating patterns and whimsical illustrations, I aim to create a nostalgic "storybook style" for adults. It is art intended to be lived with—on the quilts that keep you warm, the tea towels in your kitchen, and the journals where you whisper your own dreams. My goal is simple: to provide a soft place for your eyes to land and a sense of magic to carry into your everyday life.
My journey into this storybook world didn't happen overnight.
With over a dozen fabric collections designed for industry leaders like Moda Fabrics, I’ve spent years mastering the technical dance of the repeating pattern. My background in product design has taught me that art isn't just something to look at—it’s something meant to be woven into our lives...held, used, and passed down.
When I’m not sketching in my studio...
you can usually find me in my garden, wandering through the flora and fauna that eventually find their way onto my artwork or exploring the coast of Maine with my two favorite people, my husband and son.
